Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the canteen.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the canteen area.
• Serve food and beverages to staff and visitors.
• Manage inventory and stock of canteen supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed the 10th class or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a reputed canteen is preferable but not mandatory.
• Experience requirements may be relaxed at the discretion of the competent authority.

Skills Required:

• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices.
• Ability to manage inventory and handle canteen operations efficiently.

Working Hours:

• Typically aligned with the operational hours of the canteen, which may include weekends or extended hours based on requirements.

Reporting:

• Report directly to the Officer in charge of the Departmental Canteen or as designated.

Probation Period:

• The initial probation period is two years, during which performance will be evaluated.

• Follow all directives issued by the canteen management and adhere to organizational policies.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent service to all patrons.
