How to Apply & Instructions:

• Application Process:

  • Apply online through the Online Application Portal (OAP) of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways:
    http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in.
  • Application Period: 22.11.2024 to 21.12.2024.
  • Submit the printed application form (uploaded on OAP) to your administrative Port for onward forwarding.

• Forwarding by Administrative Ports:

  • Applications must be forwarded with required documents by 06.01.2025.
  • Superscribe on the envelope:
    "Application for the post of Chief Engineer in Mumbai Port Authority".

• Documents to be Attached:

  • Certified copies of APARs for the last 5 years (1.4.2018 to 31.3.2023), attested by an officer not below the rank of Dy. HOD.
  • Year-wise statement of APAR availability and grading, signed by the Dy. Chairperson/Chairperson. Include "No Report Certificate" if APAR for any year is unavailable.
  • Attested photocopies of:
    • Educational qualifications.
    • Present and past work experience with post and pay scale details.
  • No Objection Certificate from the respective Port.
  • Applicant's undertaking not to withdraw candidature if selected by the Services Selection Committee.
  • Vigilance and Administrative Clearance as per Annexure-II.
  • Two passport-size photographs.
