Primary Level (Class I to V):

• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + Diploma in Elementary Education (or equivalent) or
• Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE norms) or
• Senior Secondary with 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or
• Senior Secondary with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Junior Level (Class VI to VIII):

• Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or
• Graduation with at least 50% marks + Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or
• Senior Secondary with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed or
• Senior Secondary with 50% marks + 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
• Any B.Ed. program recognized by NCTE is also valid.
• Post-Graduation with 55% marks or equivalent + 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
