2	Eligibility	1. Retired Officers/ Executives not under cooling period (i.e., no continuous audit for last three consecutive years) are eligible for applying as per list in Annexure – I (Ex-Staff). 2. Retired Officers/Executives already engaged with the bank and not under cooling period can apply for branches listed in Annexure – I (Ex-Staff) if their branch is not in Annexure – II (Branches not identified for 2024-25). 3. Retired Officers in Scale II/III and Executives in Scale IV/V/VI can apply for engagement. 4. Applicant's age should not exceed 65 years on the date of application. 5. Applicant must have an unblemished track record and at least 20 years of continuous service in the bank. 6. Clearance regarding unblemished track record will be obtained from the Personnel Services Department, Head Office. 7. Applicant should have good exposure to credit dispensation by working in credit departments of Branches and/or Administrative Offices. 8. Adequate expertise and ability to handle computers independently are required. 9. Capability to operate Finacle system independently, along with investigative/inspection aptitude and analytical ability, is needed. 10. Preference will be given to applicants with working experience in the Inspection Department. 11. Applicant should not have worked as an Officer in the branches for which the application is made in the last 10 years.
3	Terms & Conditions	1. Initial contract is for one year, renewable based on annual performance reviews. An auditor cannot serve consecutively for more than three years. 2. If an engaged Retired Officer/Executive wants to exit during the audit period, they must give two months' prior notice. Failing this, fees for two months will be recovered. 3. Concurrent Auditor must conduct Compliance Audit (Test checking at least 10% of irregularities) of RBIA and certify satisfactory compliance of reported irregularities in the RBIA report. 4. Applications must be submitted online via this link or through the bank's website under Tenders/Notices. 5. Applicant must be ready to travel for Stock Inspection/Security Inspection of the concerned branch. 6. The bank reserves the right to cancel the selection process or engagement at any time without prior notice. 7. Retired Officers/Executives should not be related to any current Directors of UCO Bank. 8. The Monthly Audit Report must be released by the 10th day of the succeeding month, adhering to the format/Online module and timeline.
4	Remuneration	1. Remuneration will be as per the existing policy on engagement of Concurrent Auditors. 2. No local conveyance will be provided at Headquarters. 3. Remuneration is subject to TDS as applicable.
5	Other General Conditions	1. Shortlisting of applicants for interviews will be conducted by a Committee of Executives; their decision will be final. 2. Shortlisted applicants will attend personal interviews in person/through VC at selected centers at their own cost or through a telephonic interview. 3. Selected applicants must sign a contract devised by the bank. 4. Post selection, the Retired Officer/Executive must deposit Rs. 25,000/- (refundable upon satisfactory completion of tenure) as an FDR. 5. Applications are to be submitted online, with applicants providing a preference for five branches from the list of branches identified for audit from 01.10.2024 to 30.09.2025. The application portal will be open from 09.09.2024 (10:00:00 hrs) to 16.09.2024 (16:59:59 hrs). 6. Note the Application ID and Password displayed during the online application for future reference.
