For junior-level posts, two years of experience is required, while senior-level posts demand three years. The age limit for general category candidates is 18 to 30 years, calculated as on 01.08.2026. Reserved category candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India norms, with SC/ST candidates getting 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates getting 3 years, and PwBD candidates getting 10 to 15 years depending on their category. The selection process is structured and merit-based. Paper-I is a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) consisting of objective-type questions in General Hindi and General English, carrying 100 marks each with a sectional time limit of 1 hour per section. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Candidates who clear Paper-I with the minimum qualifying marks are shortlisted to appear for Paper-II, a descriptive test covering Hindi-English translation passages and essay writing, carrying 200 marks. The final merit list is prepared by combining 50% weightage of Paper-I marks with 100% weightage of Paper-II marks. Post allocation is done based on merit and candidate preferences submitted through an Online Option Form. All selected candidates will be placed on probation for two years and should note that all posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL), meaning posting can be anywhere in the country.
