Age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates as per Government of India norms — 10 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates, and 10 years for PwBD candidates. Ex-Servicemen will also receive age relaxation as per applicable government guidelines. Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly consolidated remuneration of ₹55,000/-. In addition to this, they will be entitled to House Rent Allowance or company-provided accommodation, Night Shift Allowance if they are rostered for night shifts, and medical coverage for themselves, their spouse, up to two children, and dependent parents. No additional perks or allowances beyond those stated will be provided to fixed-term employees. The selection process may involve multiple stages at NTPC management's discretion.
