HPRCA Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 149 Posts
The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), headquartered in Hamirpur, has officially released a recruitment notification for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) under the Job Trainee Scheme 2025. This is a state cadre post under the Directorate of Recruitment, Himachal Pradesh. The engagement under this recruitment will be governed by the Job Trainee Scheme 2025, notified by the Department of Personnel vide notification No. PER(AP)-C-B(15)-3/2024 dated 19.07.2025. The test will cover subjects related to Civil Engineering up to the level of prescribed essential qualifications, along with General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, and General English & Hindi at Matric standard. Online applications can be submitted through the official HPRCA portal at https://hprca.hp.gov.in from 10th April 2026 (10:00 AM) to 2nd May 2026 (11:59 PM). No offline applications will be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to apply well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues. A correction window will also be made available for seven days, starting three days after the application closing date, allowing candidates to rectify errors in their submitted applications upon payment of a ₹100 correction fee. The age limit for this recruitment is between 18 and 45 years, reckoned as on 1st January 2026. Relaxation in upper age limit of up to 5 years is available for SC, ST, OBC (HP domicile), Persons with Disabilities, HP Government employees, and Ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh. Before applying, candidates must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the HPRCA portal. The minimum qualifying marks in the CBT are 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF candidates. In case of multi-shift exams, scores will be normalised using the Z-Score (Mean and Standard Deviation) method to ensure fairness across all shifts. Reserved category benefits including fee concession and age relaxation are available exclusively to bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh. 🎓 Qualification

- Regular full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognised institution
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognised institution/university
- AMIE (Civil) enrolled on or before 31.05.2013 from Institute of Engineers (India), Calcutta
- Domicile Condition: Candidates with a Diploma qualification must have passed Middle and Matriculation from a school/institution within Himachal Pradesh, unless they are Bonafide Himachalis
- Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh
