GMCH Chandigarh Recruitment 2025 - Apply Online for 294 Senior Resident, Medical Officer and More Posts

The Government Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh, invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for 294 vacancies across posts of Senior Residents, Resident Anaesthetists, Resident Pathologists, CMOs (General Medicine & General Surgery), Demonstrators, Medical Officers, Lady Medical Officers, Emergency Medical Officers, and Junior Residents (MBBS & BDS). Candidates can apply online through www.gmch.gov.in between 02-10-2025 and 28-10-2025 (4:00 PM). The selection will be based on a Written Test, followed by Interview & Document Verification. Successful candidates will receive pay as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Level-9 to Level-11) plus allowances.

🎯 Age Limit

Senior Resident / Resident Anaesthetist / Resident Pathologist / CMO (General Medicine & General Surgery): Maximum 45 years
Demonstrator / Medical Officer / Lady Medical Officer / Emergency Medical Officer: Maximum 37 years
Junior Resident (MBBS & BDS): Maximum 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC: 5 years
- Government Servants (through proper channel): 5 years
- Widows, Deserted or Judicially Separated Women (not remarried): 10 years

🎓 Qualification

Senior Resident / CMO / Resident Anaesthetist / Resident Pathologist:
MD/MS/DNB/M.Ch/DM in relevant specialty (recognized by NMC).
Demonstrator / MO / LMO / EMO:
MBBS (PG Diploma holders preferred) or M.Sc. (Medical) in concerned subject for non-medical candidates.
Junior Resident (MBBS/BDS):
MBBS/BDS from recognized university, registered with MCI/SMC, internship completed by 31-12-2025.
