How to Apply & Instructions:

• Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen and a local resident of Barpeta District.
  • Must have passed HSLC or an equivalent examination.
  • Must possess empathy and concern for the upliftment of marginalized sections of society.

• Application Submission:

  • Address application to the District & Sessions Judge cum Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Barpeta.
  • Submit at the District Legal Services Authority, Barpeta office.

• Deadline:

  • Submit applications by 31-12-2024, during working hours.
  • Ensure the application includes a contact number. Applications without a contact number will be rejected.

• Additional Requirements:

  • Mention your respective Gaon Panchayat and complete address in the bio-data.

• Honorarium:

  • No salary, remuneration, or wage, except honorarium for tasks as per District Legal Services Authority rules.

• Selection Process:

  • Selection Committee’s decision is final in shortlisting candidates for interviews.
  • Eligible candidates will be notified via the official website (barpeta.dcourts.gov.in) and must appear for a Walk-In Interview.

• Training:

  • Selected candidates must undergo a training program as directed.

• Important Notes:

  • No TA/DA will be provided.
  • No separate call letters will be issued; candidates will be informed by SMS to the provided contact number.
  • The shortlisted candidates’ list will be posted on the District Judiciary notice board and website.
