There is no upper age limit for applying to the Kerala TET 2024 exam.

Category I – Lower Primary Classes (Class 1-5):

• 12th/ 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks, plus Trained Teachers Certificate (TTC) or Diploma in Education (D.Ed/DLEd).
• 12th/ 10+2 with at least 50% marks plus a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• 12th/ 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Category II – Upper Primary Classes (Class 6-8):

• B.Ed or Diploma in Education (D.Ed/DLEd) with any relevant degree.
• Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or BA.Ed/B.Sc.Ed with 50% marks.
• Final Year Students of D.Ed/D.El.Ed and B.Ed can apply with a certificate from the institution stating their status.

Category III – High School Classes (Class 9-12):

• Graduation (BA/B.Sc/B.Com) with at least 45% marks, plus B.Ed.
• M.Sc.Ed Degree in the relevant subject.

Category IV – Language Teachers:

• Candidates with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in teaching any language, recognized by the universities or the Government of Kerala, are eligible to apply.
