1. Education: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board with:
   • Minimum 50% aggregate
   • Minimum 40% in each subject
2. Marital Status: Unmarried male candidates only

Selection Process:

1. Stage 1: Shortlisting based on 10+2 marks (PCB).
2. Stage 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), written examination, and recruitment medical exam.
   • PFT Requirements:
     • 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds
     • 20 squats
     • 15 push-ups
     • 15 bent-knee sit-ups
   • Written Exam: Bilingual, objective type, covering English, Science, Biology, General Awareness, and Reasoning.
3. Medical Standards:
   • Minimum height: 157 cm
   • Minimum chest expansion: 5 cm
   • Uncorrected vision: 6/12, corrected vision: 6/12
   • Permanent body tattoos allowed only on inner forearms and the reverse side of hands.

Pay and Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: ₹21,700 - ₹69,100
• Allowances: Housing, medical benefits, leave encashment, and insurance cover (₹75 lakhs).
• Post-Retirement Benefits: Pension and other government-sanctioned benefits.

Training:

• Location: INS Chilka, Odisha
• Duration: Commences November 2024
• Follow-Up Training: Professional training for Medical Branch.
