Assam Police Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 274 Cook, Barber And More Posts
The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released a notification for 274 Grade IV vacancies including Cook, Barber, Water Carrier, Dhobi, Cobbler, Plumber and other posts under Assam Police, Assam Commando Battalions, and DGCD & CGHG. This recruitment is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a stable government job in Assam. Applications will be accepted online only from 22 January 2026 to 22 February 2026. Selection will be based on Physical Standard Test (PST) and Trade Proficiency Test (TPT) followed by medical examination and document verification. Selected candidates will receive pay under Pay Band-1 and Pay Band-2 with grade pay and other allowances as per government rules.
