🎓 Qualification

(a)	Soldier (General Duty)	Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, minimum D grade (33-40%) in individual subjects or overall C2 grade.
(b)	Soldier (Clerk)	10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
(c)	Soldier Tradesmen (All Trades except House Keeper & Mess Keeper)	(i) Class 10th pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
(d)	Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper)	(i) Class 8th pass. (ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Territorial Army is a purely voluntary organization with only a part-time commitment and does not provide or promise any permanent employment.
Initial Enrolment Period: 7 years, with extensions based on organizational needs and meeting certain criteria.
Employment after successful enrolment depends on government sanction and organizational requirements.
Longer Embodiments may be required by the organization as needed, though this is not guaranteed.
Pension is not promised and depends on factors like embodiment and qualifying service.
Training Requirement: Selected candidates must undergo training at designated centers, which could be located anywhere in India or abroad.
Discharge Policy: During the first two years of training, candidates may be discharged if found unlikely to become efficient soldiers.
Governing Laws: Enrolled candidates will be governed by the TA Act 1948, TA Rules 1948 (amended as necessary), and TA Regulations 1948 (Revised Edition 1976).
